- Profile: Light to heavy, chosen for the coating system

What it is, and why it matters.
A shot blaster throws steel shot at the floor, knocks the surface loose and captures the shot and dust in one pass. It creates a uniform profile quickly and is excellent for large warehouses, shops and parking decks.
Concrete Coating provides shot blasting in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee for large slabs and commercial work. We explain when it beats grinding, how the profile is controlled and what the job looks like.

Shot Blasting: common questions
Is shot blasting better than grinding?
It depends on the floor. Shot blasting is faster for big areas and some coatings. Grinding is better for edges, polishing and fine finishing, and many jobs use both.
Does shot blasting damage concrete?
It removes a thin surface layer. Profile depth is controlled, and we stop at the right level for your coating.
How do I get an estimate for shot blasting?
Fill in the form or call or text 615-431-3789. A few photos and the size of the area usually give us what we need, and we send a written price. Larger jobs start with a short visit.
